+ C62 is a big hipped, long bodied, nice phenotype, classic General Lee son. He’s a really solid, complete bull. Use him on heifers or cows. + C62 has the 5 th biggest Scrotal EPD of any bull selling! + Dam X35 is a low birth weight, nice uddered cow that is moderate framed for a 38 Special. She has an excellent 357 day calving interval. Repeat customer Chance Benoit owns her first son. + X35 was the last natural calf of the great G366 cow. Read about G366 in the box below. Yearling bulls Lots 5-15 and 17 descend from G366.

+ C58 is a bigger framed, large scrotal bull with good body. He is recommended for large framed, well-developed heifers or cows. + Dam Z8 is best known for her super calm attitude. She’s a friendly gal that never gets in a hurry. At 343 days, she has the shortest calving interval in the herd. She settled first service AI each year, and will be one of the first cows to calve in 2025. + Z8 had nice individual performance data: BW 75 pounds, WW 733 pounds, WR 107, YW 1051 lbs., YR 108, IMF 6.07, ratio 126, ribeye 11.0”, ratio 100. + Please read about tremendous Pathfinder donor grandam N54 (my favorite G366 daughter) in the footnote of feature bull, Lot 6 and see her picture on page 6. + Great grandam G366 is considered the best cow in our 97-year history. She has as much influence on today’s cow herd as any cow in modern history. Read an abbreviated list of her accomplishments in the box to the right.

+ Lots 5-15 and 17 descend from the great Erica of Ellston G366 – she is the epitome of what a model Angus female should be! Five daughter descendants of G366 rank in the top 10 indexing cows of the herd! No cow family has ever had this much presence on this distinguished herd list before. + Four direct daughters of G366 have earned the Pathfinder designation, as well as at least 3 other descendants. At least 15 of her daughter descendants have served as donors, including the most recognized Hoover-bred female, Erica of Ellston T220, the dam of Bold Ruler. G366 grossed $238,000 worth of direct progeny sales, not including embryos sold. + Too numerous to mention are G366’s progeny that have found themselves in the very top of the crop for weaning weight. It is neat, however, that she had three-in-a-row #1 adjusted weaning weight calves of their respective crops. Even at 12 years of age, her growth genetics were still powerful, as an ET daughter was the #1 adjusted weaning weight ET heifer of her crop! + At the end of her career, G366 recorded 9-98 BWR and 9-107 WR on her natural calves.

+ Flush brother to Lot 6 – read footnote there. + C45’s 10 year-old recip probably didn’t raise him to express his full genetic potential, but I still like this bull and I love his cow family! Save every daughter he makes! C45 has a leg on all 4 corners, is level topped, long bodied, and well-rounded. He’s just the right frame size. C45 is recommended for use on cows.
