Reflecting with McLuhan against McLuhanism in the Age of Digital Media * Nacer Eddine Layadi نصر الدين لعياضي - ملخص: تتضمـن الدراسـة دعـوة إل ـى التفكيـر مـع ماكلوهـان ضـد الماكلوهانيـة في البيئـة الرقميـة. وتطالـب بمراجعـة أبـرز مرتكـزات فكـر مارشـال ماكلوهـان التـي تضمنتهـا منشـوراته. لق ـد حاول ـت الدراسـة تقدي ـم الأسـباب الت ـي أدت إل ـى إع ـادة اكتشـاف "ماكلوهـان" في العصـر الراهـن. ودفعـت إلـى مسـاءلة مـا يزعمـه الكثيـر مـن الكُتّـاب والباحثيــن الذيــن يــرون أن مــا تعيشــه الميديــا اليــوم مــن تحــولاتفي البيئــة الإعلاميـة يُثبِـت صحـة مـا تنبّـأ بـه ماكلوهـانفيحياتـه. وتحـاول الدراسـة أن تُبيّـن أيض ًـا مكان ـة ماكلوه ـانفي ال ـدرس الإعلام ـي العرب ـي بم ـا يخ ـدم تط ـور البح ـوث الإعلامي ـة في المنطق ـة العربي ـة. الرســالة المُضَعّفــة، البيئــة الإعلاميــة، الحتميــة التكنولوجيــة، كلمــات مفتاحيــة: الإنس ـان غي ـر المجس ـم، الق ـدارة، المنظوم ـة الإعلامي ـة، نظري ـة الوس ـيط. Abstract: This study calls for the reflection with McLuhan against McLuhanism in the era of digital media and a review of the foundations of McLuhan’s thought presented in his work. It presents the reasons that led to the rediscovery of McLuhan in the contemporary era. It also questions the claims of writers and researchers that are convinced that the changes in the media ecosystem are proof of the accuracy of McLuhan’s predictions. Moreover, the study reveals McLuhan’s position in the Arab media lesson, which serves the development of media research in the Arab region.
