BERDEEN, NJ — Basser Kaufman , a Woodmere, NY-based Horne of CBRE and Kalamaris of RealSource Partners represent tenant LA Fitness signs 34,000 s/f lease at Basser Kaufman's Aberdeen Plaza in New Jersey A

Plaza. LA Fitness will take pos- session in spring of 2019 and will occupy 34,000 s/f of a prior 57,000 s/f space formerly occupied by A&P Supermarket. Area retailers include Target, Costco, Pier 1 Imports, Stein Mart, BJ's, and Modell's. Several store spaces from 1,200 to 24,000 s/f remain available. According to Robert Goldfeder , director of leas- ing for Basser Kaufman, LA Fitness was an ideal choice for Aberdeen Plaza. "We are very excited to bring the

upscale and traffic-generating LA Fitness to the center. We believe this desirable tenant will be a destination for the fitness-minded consumers in Aberdeen Township while complementing our existing retail and services mix and serving as a draw for other high-profile tenants." LA Fitness was represent- ed by Michael Horne of CBRE and JohnKalamaris of RealSource Partners . Basser Kaufman represented itself. Legal counsel was Gary Hisiger of Moritt Hock Hamroff. 

Nearby developments include 615 new residential rental units, which are nearly 100% leased, as well as 250 new single-family homes. Both developments are situated within ¾ mile of Aberdeen Char t e r Rea l t y handles two retail leases in Hartford, CT HARTFORD, CT — Char- ter Realty & Development announced that on behalf of HP Nitkin Group, it has signed a 2,601 s/f El Pollo Guapo store at The Front Street District in Hartford, CT. The Front Street District is a 150,000 s/f project located in Downtown Hartford at the intersection of Front Street and Columbus Blvd. across from the Convention Center. The Front Street Dis- trict is anchored by UCONN, Barnes & Noble, Bear BBQ, Spotlight Cinema and Capital Grille El Pollo Guapo is a neigh- borhood rotisserie restaurant with one other location in Wethersfield. Charter Realty worked with David Dumeer of Golden Oak Development to secure this phenomenal location for El Pollo Guapo. HP Nitkin Group has signed a 3,650 s/f Boiling Soho Res- taurant location at The Front Street District. Boiling Soho is an Asian inspired seafood boil style res- taurant. They currently have a location in NewHaven, CT and are excited to be expanding into the Hartford area. Their menu lets you build your own seafood boil in four easy steps. Pick your favorite seafood, choose a sauce, select a spice level and add in any extras. Their menu also boasts a raw bar and many items from the grill. Charter Realty worked with Cynthia Teng of Berkshire Hathaway to secure this loca- tion for Boiling Soho. 
