About the Scholarship Awarded to support a graduate student in Communication Sciences & Disorders who intends to work in a medical setting and demonstrates the characteristics of leadership and scholarship. Maddix will graduate with her master's in speech- language pathology this spring. She volunteers for United Way, Salvation Army and Special Olympics.
