About the Award Awarded to the student who exemplifies the following qualities: Graduate Potential – Clinical Expertise - Service – Scholarship – Personality - Leadership Emily is a communication sciences and disorders major and minoring in child, youth and family studies. She is the president of the National Student Speech-Language and Hearing Association and has attended state conventions. Emily volunteered for the Central Wisconsin Children's Museum and the La Crosse Housing Authority. She hopes to work in a school setting with children who are diagnosed with autism.
