About the Scholarship The Peterson Family CPS Scholarship Fund provides support for a student in the College of Professional Studies participating in a study or service abroad program or a cultural service program in the United States. Established by Dennis and Sharon Peterson of Waupaca, WI, the intent of the scholarship is to give students the opportunity to develop their awareness and understanding of cultural traditions, lifestyles, or viewpoints that differ from their own. Kadie is a Doctor of Audiology student and enjoys working with the deaf and hard-of-hearing community. She is beyond excited and grateful for the opportunity to further expand her skill set in the field of audiology by learning about global healthcare issues at an audiology internship in Cape Town, South Africa this summer.
