About the Scholarship Dr. David Chitharanjan, Emeritus Professor of Chemistry was instrumental in starting the Clinical Laboratory Science program at UWSP. He taught many of our current Clinical Laboratory Science faculty when they were students. Dr. Chitharanjan honors students of exceptional academic ability with this award. laboratory scientist. She aspires to become a technical specialist in chemistry, blood bank, or microbiology and eventually a lab manager. Beth works as a medical laboratory technician for the Marshfield Clinic Health System and is completing her bachelor’s degree to become a certified medical
