Special Session Policy

Staff Professional Development totals $50,000 annually funded 50% by Extended Education and 50% funded by the Provost. These funds are

Examples of appropriate uses of Extended Education funds

▪ Professional Development for Students: Travel and conference registration fees, and field trips for students enrolled in a self-support program. ▪ Equipment/Computers/Software/Printers/Mobile Devices: Equipment, including laboratory instrumentation, computers, software, printers or ▪ Office Furniture/Classroom Tables/Desks/Renovations: Items and renovation costs that can be tied to self-supporting programs. ▪ Office and Classroom Supplies: Office and classroom supplies, such as paper, writing instruments, and white boards that are used for self-support Note: These examples are not all inclusive. It is important to avoid using these funds for any items or activities that are unrelated to self-support.
