PREVENTED OCEAN PLASTIC Prevented Ocean Plastic is made from recycled plastic PET bottles (rPET) and produced according to European and North American quality standards. Prevented Ocean Plastic is categorised as being found within 50km (30mi) of an ocean coastline or major waterway that feeds into the ocean. The countries it is collected from lack waste management infrastructure and collection incentives and have infrastructure that is being overwhelmed by population growth or tourism. Impact Aware products are made with AWARE™ tracer. Recycled materials requiring almost zero water in production. AWARE™ applies tracer particles to the raw recycled cotton and then uses blockchain to guarantee the material that enters the supply chain is the same that comes out as apparel. By offering validation, transparency and veri fi cation, this can work to eliminate greenwashing and establish more trust in the textiles industry. R+ products are produced from waste material from the manufacturing process (of which we’re exclusively using recycled WEEE material) as well as all the waste generated from our print process being also recycled. Both these streams of materials are blended to create R+, a unique recycled plastic. By reusing our own waste, and recycled materials being recycled again, our objective of lowering the carbon footprint of our products is achievable.
