T he 68th Grand in Dallas, TX, marked a significant milestone in our Fraternity’s legacy, with exciting discussions centered around the newly renovated International Headquarters located at 607 North Broad Street, Philadelphia. the extensive renovations. Kappa Alpha Psi established its National Headquarters Office at 2320 North Broad Street in September 1953, during the tenure of 15th Grand Polemarch Dr. W. Henry Greene. The first major renovation occurred under the administration of 16th Grand Polemarch C. Rodger Wilson, as we tran- sitioned the facility from a residential property to a commercial one. Under

21st Grand Polemarch Dr. Elbert E. Allen, the fra- ternity sought to expand by acquiring adjoining properties to create a main facility. In 1979, during the leadership of 22nd Grand Polemarch H.H. Holloway, plans for a new National Headquarters were initi- ated, leading to further refinements in 1980 under 23rd Grand Polemarch Dr. Oliver Gumbs. Exciting fundraising endeavors,

including the “Brick” pro- gram, helped bolster the Headquarters Endowment fund, growing it to approxi- mately $86,000. Despite proposals for a joint-use facility in 1986 under 25th Grand Pole- march Randall C. Bacon, the Grand Chapter ulti- mately opted to explore new construction options. Following assessments by a National Headquar- ters Task Force in 1987, a decision was made to
