What is a Crisis? In the context of a crisis communication plan, a cri- sis is any unexpected event or situation that poses a significant threat to the health, safety, or well-being of residents, staff, or stakeholders, or that could severely impact the reputation, operations, or financial stability of the organization, necessitating immediate and effec- tive communication and response efforts. The purpose of the Crisis Communication Plan is to provide a framework for effectively managing and communicating during a crisis. This plan aims to ensure accurate, timely, and transparent communication to protect the reputation of Lutheran SeniorLife and en- sure the safety and well-being of its stakeholders.
