PHILADELPHIA, PA — CBRE announced that they have brokered a lease for a new two-story, SWEAT Fit- ness location at 1 S. Broad St. in Center City, Philadelphia. SWEAT Fitness is moving its facility at 1425 Arch St. to the new 20,000 s/f space. CBRE retail team members Larry Steinberg and Paige Jaffe represented both the land- lord, AION Partners, and the tenant during the transaction. “This brand new facility will serve the nearly 90,000 daytime employees and the more than 30,000 residents east of Broad St.,” said Jaffe, first vice president, CBRE. “In recent months, we have seen a tremendous amount of interest in retail opportuni- ties east of Broad Street and we expect that to continue through 2017.” SWEAT Fitness currently has six locations in Philadel- phia and eight throughout the region.
