Compensation, Profit Sharing, and Benefits We are dedicated to offering top-tier compensation and conduct annual wage surveys to ensure we remain competitive in the communities we serve. Averitt pays all associates at least 240% above the federal minimum wage in every location we operate – and 100% of our associates earn above local minimum wages. We regularly review and adjust compensation to ensure fairness across roles and to reward the contributions of every associate. We also share our success through a company-wide Profit Sharing program, which allocates 20% of our profits back to associates through their auto-enrolled 401(k)s. This initiative not only rewards teamwork but also reinforces a sense of ownership among associates. We provide a wide range of benefits to our associates, including health insurance, life insurance, disability coverage, bereavement leave, paid time off, 401(k) contributions, Red Thinkin’ Rewards, and other team rewards. Open Communication and Engagement Effective communication is a cornerstone of our leadership approach. Through our Open Door Policy, associates are encouraged to share ideas and feedback directly with leadership. Our Driver Advisory Council, Feedback Channels, and other input forums help ensure transparency and continuous improvement. In 2024, 100% of associates were invited to participate in feedback efforts, and more than 65% engaged in person or virtually. Road drivers, our largest workforce group, participate in monthly calls with our Driver Services Team. Communication channels range from mobile apps and confidential tools like Averitt Open Line to local meetings and one-on-one conversations.
