Supplier Human Rights Management Averitt has a Vendor Code of Conduct and a Human Rights Policy for business operations that also apply to external stakeholders such as vendors and suppliers. The policy covers topics of Forced Labor, Child Labor and Human Trafficking, Hazardous Conditions and Workplace Safety, Discrimination, Abuse, Harassment, Freedom of Association and Collective Bargaining, Environmental Protection, Data Protection and Data Security, Whistleblowing and Protection Against Retaliation, Monitoring, Reporting, and Remediation. In addition to the Averitt Vendor Code of Conduct and Human Rights Policy that Averitt suppliers must adhere to, in 2024 Averitt developed contracting language that includes standards for social, human rights, and environmental performance. Averitt operates under an ongoing Master Service Agreement that is only renewed occasionally with most of its vendors, including the largest vendors. In 2024, an agreement with the supplier that provides more than half of Averitt’s tires was up for renewal and the supplier executed its contract with the new standards for social, human rights, and environmental performance.
