Safety and Emergency Management Culture Averitt conducts safety audits for all its shops on a monthly and annual basis against Averitt and OSHA protocols for 100% of shops. The audit covers topics of aisles/exits/egress, compressed gas cylinders, emergency, health, and safety information, fire emergency, flammables/combustibles, hazardous/non-hazardous waste compliance, and other safety topics. Averitt also has an emergency response plan as one of its health and safety measures. The emergency response plan includes contingencies for several situations. The plan demonstrates the active planning and crisis management tool that Averitt employs to prepare for and manage in the event of a crisis.
