As the year draws to a close, the Permian Basin Association of Division Order Analysts is reflecting on a year of growth and community engagement while preparing for an exciting 2026. We want to welcome new board members for the coming year, and are truly thankful to those who take the time to volunteer for PBADOA. This helps to ensure we provide quality educational opportunities for our members. Recently, PBADOA hosted its second annual “Give Thanks” Luncheon in partnership with the Permian Association of Lease and Title Analysts (PALTA). The event brought members together for networking and fun while supporting a meaningful cause. Through generous contributions, the organizations raised funds to sponsor a local family in need. Looking forward to the new year, we are excited to see what is in store for our organization and are thankful for the continued support from our members. The SADOA/TALTA fall seminar was held on Thursday, September 25, 2025, and it was a big success. Feedback from attendees was very positive, with strong attendance, excellent speakers, and appreciation for the early-bird pricing that was offered. The venue was changed from the Tulsa Country Club to the OSU-Tulsa Campus, and many expressed their preference of the new venue for future events. Partnering with TALTA has worked well for SADOA and has streamlined logistics and increased attendance. If you missed SADOA’s Webinar held October 22, 2025, you truly missed out. Vital Energy’s Holly Frankenfield presented the topic “AI for the Day-to-Day” with real time examples of how AI assists her in her daily work. It was an excellent introduction for those wanting to experience AI but aren’t sure how to get started. The SADOA Holiday Luncheon will be held Wednesday, December 10, 2025, at the Tulsa Country Club from 11:30AM to 1:00PM. The charity we will be supporting this year is Tulsa CASA. Tulsa Court Appointed Special Advocates (CASA) is a nonprofit organization that trains volunteers to advocate for abused and neglected children in the court system. SADOA will contribute a $500.00 donation, along with an additional $500.00 in raffle prizes, likely in the form of gift cards. A donation option will also be added to the SADOA website to allow members to contribute directly. There are board positions available for the 2026 SADOA Board.
