Mele Kalikimaka and Happy Holidays! This year, we’re celebrating the season by highlighting some of our clients’ wonderful pets, festive and lovable companions who bring holiday cheer wherever they go. Maverick Hi! My name is Maverick, and I’m a 2-year-old golden retriever. I’m currently in training to be a therapy dog in hospitals and clinics. I get to go to work with my doctor mommy at Kapolei Family Medical Center, and I’m able to see most of the patients with her, giving them lots of snuggles and love. Everyone is always so happy to see me. Celebrating the Season With Merry Little Pets MELE KALIKIMAKA!

This Christmas, all I want is lots of snuggles with my family at the beach, followed by a big steak dinner. My parents love cooking, and of course, that includes cooking for me, too. Happy Pawlidays, everyone! Uzi

Hi! I’m Uzi, a 9-month-old golden doodle pup! I try to be good, but sometimes I just can’t resist stealing socks (they smell like adventure!). But I make up for it with all the cuddles and kisses.

Maverick

For Christmas, I’m hoping Santa brings me cheese and apples because I’m a foodie at heart.

My human says they love my loving energy and my big floppy ears. I think they’re pretty cute too! Hokulea Laura Moon Aloha! I’m Hokulea Laura Moon, a fluffy little 4-month-old ragdoll baby. Sometimes I get a tiny bit naughty and nibble on my human’s hair. But I’m also the best cuddler in the galaxy. For Christmas, I’m dreaming of a new bird toy to pounce on! My human says they adore my pretty blue eyes and my cute little face. Sage Green Hey there! I’m Sage Green, a 1½-year-old Siberian Husky with big zoomie energy! I get into trouble sometimes… mostly by chewing my parents’ wooden furniture and digging huge holes. Oops! But I also love playing with my friends Sachi and Jason’s dog, Rosie. She’s the best!

My parents say they love my lively spirit and my sky-blue eyes. I wag my tail because I love them too!

This was my first transaction with them, and I couldn’t be more impressed. They were thorough, easy to reach, and incredibly detail- oriented. Every step was handled with care and clarity, and their communication was top-notch. I never felt lost or overwhelmed; just supported by a team that truly knows its stuff. “If you’re looking for a real estate experience that’s smooth, professional, and infused with aloha spirit, this is the team to call. “Highly recommend. Tanpopo Hi! I’m Tanpopo! My name means “dandelion” in Japanese! I’m a 5-year-old American Shorthair who LOVES attention. Sometimes, I get a little naughty and wake my humans up at 4 a.m. because I really want to go outside… and also, I snore. But I make up for it with my super cute meow that sounds more like a chirp (though my people say it’s slightly less cute at 4 a.m.). For Christmas, all I want is churu. Lots and lots of churu. My family says they love that I’m friendly with everyone, and I prefer to do my business outside, which means they almost never have to clean my litter box. (Sorry, neighbors!) Hana Aloha! I’m Hana! My name means “flower” in Japanese! I’m also a 5-year-old American Shorthair and the gentlest little lap cat you’ll ever meet. I don’t get into much trouble at all… though I do have some pretty powerful kitty breath. I love snuggling for hours on a warm lap or even perched on a shoulder. For Christmas, I’m hoping for crunchy treats of any variety. They’re all delicious! My humans say they adore how cuddly I am. I’m always ready for warm, cozy snuggle time.

The Power of the Curve Home Design That Flows

Ever notice how some spaces feel better than others? You can walk into a room and instantly feel more relaxed, even if it’s unclear why. It turns out that a room’s shape might have more to do with that than the furniture inside. Lately, curved architecture is trending in residential home design, and one of the main reasons is the positive shift in mood these curves bring to a space. Studies show that people prefer curves and rounded edges to hard angles. It makes sense when you think about it. Nature is full of curves. You see them everywhere: tree canopies, rolling hills, river stones, and even our bodies. Familiar forms put our minds at ease. Some research links curved spaces to reduced stress, a feeling of safety, and a boost in mood. In home design, curves promote good flow and soften transitions between spaces. And builders today have more ways to bring rounded elements into a home. CNC machines, 3D printers, and new drywall framing systems make creating soft-edged interior spaces and design elements easier and more affordable. But you don’t have to renovate your house to bring in the curve. You can ease into it. A round mirror in the hallway changes the way light bounces. A lamp with a soft arc can pull a corner together. Swap out a square coffee

table for a circular one, and suddenly the flow of a room changes. If you are remodeling, consider an arched pass-through between the kitchen and dining room or a rounded edge on the kitchen island. Built-ins with curved shelving or banquette seating can soften a space without taking over the entire layout. What matters most is how your eye travels. Curves can guide you through a room, and simply adding a few to your home’s layout can change how it looks and feels. That’s a design choice we can all get behind.
