BIG BANG RESIDENCY INVITES ARTISTS AND ENGINEERS TO CREATE NEW WORKS OF ART AND SPECTACLE
Beakerhead and The Banff Centre will support the design and build of a public artwork to be shared with the world during Beakerhead. The work will be created and built over the course of a year by an interdisciplinary team, which must include at least one professional engineer.
The annual program will start and end with a week in residence at The Banff Centre for project development and refinement. The successful team will be supported with access to workshop facilities in Calgary over the winter.
The 2015 deadline is October 9.
