Applebee’s Neighborhood Bar & Grill has extended their 5,000 s/f lease at Orange Plaza in Middletown, NY and Au- toZone has extended their 6,000 s/f lease at Liberty Square Center. “These are exciting chang- es that will enhance the dining experience and re- flects continued confidence at these shopping centers,” said Brian Sekel , executive vice president at NRDC. n Ripco brings BonChon back to New Brunswick NEW BRUNSWICK, NJ — After more than a two year hiatus BonChon will be returning to downtown New Brunswick. The new location at Liberty Plaza on George St. will be bigger and more promi- nent than its predecessor. Ripco Real Estate ’s Da- vid Townes and Matthew Grundy worked with BonChon to secure the location and plan to help build the brand further throughout the state. The res- taurant will occupy a 2,900 s/f space at 335 George St. former- ly occupied by Counter Burger. Ripco represented the tenant and worked directly with own- ership in the transaction. “We are excited to bring the BonChon brand back to New Brunswick” said Paul Saran, Owner of the BonChon New Brunswick. With this new restaurant, BonChon will serve the Rut- gers student body and sur- rounding community with a modern and trendy menu. Bon- Chon is known for its Korean style fried chicken and other tasty Asian fusion dishes. “We’re looking forward to seeing BonChon become a new hot spot for the Rutgers community.” David Townes and Matthew Grundy of Ripco represented the tenant in the transaction. n

URLINGTON, NJ — National Real- ty & Development Corp., (NRDC) announced that new pad buildings will be constructed at Liberty Square Center and Hadley Center in New Jersey. McDonald’s will be join- ing Liberty Square Center in Burlington, NJ with a newly constructed, state-of- the-art 3,911 s/f building on one of the shopping center’s outparcels.
