NEW ZEALAND BEEKEEPER, JULY 2017

approach to protecting the interests of both producers. There are points of difference and strengths of products from both countries and ample opportunity for differentiation, accurate labelling and clever collaboration. Australia and New Zealand have a long history and many examples of being stronger through working closely together. Our combined strengths can surely be leveraged for improved outcomes for beekeepers in both countries. I hope to be able to open dialogue and explore opportunities for both countries. I look forward to attending the ApiNZ conference coming up from 9–11 July and to seeing you in Istanbul in September. Reference Sampson, A. (2017, May 29). Food fraud: High roller of the crime scene.
