Welcome All to the 6th Annual Georgia Color Plein Air, The 6th Annual Georgia Color Plein Air event is set in the backdrop of Georgia’s most beautiful and historic city - Savannah, marking an exciting first for Georgia Color. It is with great enthusiasm that our board members, volunteers and supporters welcome 30 distinguished artists to town. Savannah’s reputation as America’s Hostess City rings true, with a warm welcome extended to all. Savannah’s art scene is vibrant and flourishing, and Georgia Color is delighted to contribute to its cultural calendar. The event offers a unique opportunity to view Savannah through the artistic interpretations of Georgia’s top outdoor painters. Attendees can gain insight into their creative process through daily talks and demonstrations and partake in social events such as the Artist Welcome Reception and the Artist Awards & Collectors Celebration. We cordially invite art enthusiasts to visit our Exhibition Gallery to witness the creativity in action and support our artists through art purchases. For those unable to attend in person, this virtual gallery is available for browsing and purchasing. Our heartfelt gratitude goes out to our sponsors, community partners, host committee members, and volunteers who make the event possible. Special mention to individuals and organizations like Julian & Jean Weitz, Lori Keith Robinson, Kip Bradley, Savannah Bee Company, Sharon McIntosh, Andy Hall, Sue Hagins, Sharon Grefski, and Savannah Arts Association, among others. Lastly, we are thrilled to announce an upcoming exhibition at the Booth Western Art Museum in Cartersville, featuring artworks from Georgia Color artists. Do take the opportunity to explore the museum’s extensive western art collection (January-March 2025 – Borderlands Gallery).
