Neiko, 15 Marion County

He is a sweet and kind autistic boy who is always doing whatever he can to make everyone happy. He under- stands his disability but never lets it stop him from chasing his dreams of growing up to be Dr. Neiko, the baby doctor.

Addison, 12 Monongalia County

She is a two-sport athlete—running cross country for Mountaineer Middle School and swimming on her club swim team, Club Mountaineer. She’s also a very talented artist, a great big sister, an amazing cousin, a trustworthy friend, and a helper to her parents.

Ryan, 6, Hardy County He had an extremely complex type of Chiari malformation. After surgery he was dancing in the hospital and home within four days. He used to struggle in school, and since the surgery he’s had straight As and even found a love for playing basketball.

Carson, 2 Mason County

Seth, 13 Monongalia County

Carson, 2 years old and from Mason County, felt that his elderly neighbors needed a little brightness in their day during the COVID-19 pandemic. He decided he wanted to check on them and deliver flowers.

He’s a fine young man who is helpful to anyone in need and who is a blessing, especially to his grandparents.

Shawn, 17 Mineral County

Wade, 2 Marion County

In August 2019, Shawn decided that he would organize a coat drive for local youth for his senior project at Keyser High School. He got to work purchas- ing new winter coats for any kid who needed one. Soon local businesses got involved and started donating to his project. He was able to purchase and distribute 187 new winter coats to children in need in Mineral County.

He is a sweet and amazing little boy who loves to share with others, make people smile, and use his manners. He is constantly growing and learning from others, wears his heart on his sleeve, and uses his love and kind- ness to spread joy wherever he goes.
