Brady, 8, Mercer County, learned a few years ago that people in the world are hungry and he decided he was going to do something about it. He started sending hun- dreds of seeds each year to South Africa, and distribut- ing them throughout southern West Virginia. Since the COVID-19 pandemic began, Brady has distributed 4,000 seeds to West Virginia with hundreds more to go. He hopes to continue his effort of helping people who are hungry for years to come.
