“Right now, everybody is talking about women’s football. In Switzerland, we are looking forward to hosting the UEFA Women’s EURO in 2025 – that will be a huge party. But it’s not just about the next two years – we want a connection with fans forever. Promoting our women’s team at YB is a long-term project. Almost all our national team players are abroad and don’t play in Switzerland: it’s not like in England where the national team players are in the same league. We can’t use those stars so we have to create our own.
