P8 Should Cost Highlights
• YTD we have seen an increase of 510 should cost submissions vs. LY, with Deli Bakery seeing the largest increases, up 402 vs. LY • Members of the Fresh Sourcing team continue to assist the Sourcing Support team until the Intake Analyst roles are trained and fully functional. • Since the beginning of the pandemic, we continue to see a marked increase in time spent negotiating cost increases coupled with a decrease in avoidance results.
Teams are working together to discuss and capture additional activities related to cost mitigation (incremental funding, delayed implementation, etc.)
