DIVERSITY & INCLUSION INTRODUCTION TO THE PJ HEGARTY DIVERSITY, EQUALITY AND INCLUSION STEERING COMMITTEE We would like to introduce staff to the PJ Hegarty Diversity, Equality and Inclusion Steering Committee (DEI) which was founded in June of this year. The group has representatives from the Dublin, Cork and UK offices. PJ Hegarty were awarded Silver with the Irish Centre of Diversity in December 2022. Our next objective on our DEI improvements is to achieve the gold standard. The DEI Steering committee was established to ensure we stay on track. The purpose of the committee is to help establish a supportive and welcoming workplace environment in which all employees from all backgrounds and demographics can work together. The group meet bi-weekly and have recently agreed the action plan for achieving Gold. As part of this action plan, staff will be hearing a lot more about DEI in the workplace over the coming months as they organise activities, events, training and information. The group will continue to update staff each quarter their progress.

EMPLOYEE DEI RESOURCE GROUP
Group contributions, will include:
• Providing employee’s perspectives on what more could be done on DEI matters within the company. • Ensuring adequate communications and sharing of DEI information among our staff and our external supply chain. • Meet from time-to-time to provide suggestions for diversity initiatives, activities and/or events.
We would love to hear from our staff on how we can improve our DEI culture. We are looking for allies and diverse groups to join our Diversity, Equality and Inclusion Employee Resource Group so we can enhance our company culture. The purpose of the DEI Employee Resource Group is to: Represent all PJ Hegary staff relating to DEI. This is a voluntary group which will feed into the DEI Steering Committee. It will contribute to the direction and decisions regarding DEI. It will give assistance in the company’s overall DEI cultural development.
