2024 ALUMNUS OF THE YEAR ESTER WARREN
Dr. Ester Warren serves as the Senior Executive Director of the Office of Disability Accommodation Support at Liberty University, where she leads initiatives to enhance the educational experiences of students with disabilities and fosters an inclusive environment for all students. Dr. Warren’s research interests include supporting college students with disabilities, autism, college transition, educational resilience, and college student success. Dr. Warren holds an Ed.D. and Ed.S. in Educational Leadership, as well as a B.S. in History and a M.Ed. in Teaching and Learning: Special Education Concentration, all from Liberty University. She also earned an M.A. in Applied Behavior Analysis from Ball State University and a Certificate from Word of Life Bible Institute. A 1991 graduate of Word of Life Bible Institute, she often reflects on how her time at WOLBI helped lay the biblical foundation for her faith and service. Throughout her career and personal life, she has remained committed to showing the love and comfort of Christ to those facing obstacles.
Dr. Warren has been married for 28 years to her husband, Kenny (also a WOLBI alum), and they are parents of two adult children.
