The cool thing about Prince is he is one of the godsons of soul. The god father being James Brown. James Brown and Michael Jackson really brought music forward. But Prince was more musical in the way he brought music forward com- pared to Michael Jackson. Michael Jackson brought it forward with his energy and ability to perform. Both great, but had different wavelengths they interacted on to create their legacies. Almost like Plato and Aristotle.
