I – and perhaps other artists although I don’t pretend to speak for them – are given opportunities to share our views of cataclysmic events that touch everyone. Upheavals, triumphs, and events that shake at the roots of society. When left in the hands of artists who are also witnesses, we feel compelled to report by creating art. In my paintings, I try to balance and weigh what the future will look like. My paintings are my views.
