„Staklena menažerija“ u čast Tenesija Vilijamsa / The Glass Menagerie, in honour of Tennessee Williams
Ove godine proslavlja se širom sveta 80 godina od drame „Stakle- na menažerija“ i „Madlenianum“ se pridružuje tom značajnom jubile- ju svojom premijerom ovog kultnog komada. U dobrim delom autobi- ografskom komadu koji u prvi plan stavlja osobu nežnu poput staklene figurice Loru Vingfild, proslavio se jedan od najvećih američkih dram- skih pisaca Tenesi Vilijams. On je stvorio pravo pozorišno remek-delo koje i 80 godina od nastanka korespondira sa savremenim čovekom i pokreće na borbu za dobrotu i čistotu. Rediteljka je Ivana Vujić, a ekipu glumaca predvode Tamara Aleksić i Nikola Rakočević. Premijera je za- kazana za 30. mart.
The world is this year commemorating the 80 th anniversary of the pre- miere performance of the play The Glass Menagerie, and Belgrade’s Madlenianum Opera & Theatre joins this significant jubilee with its own premiere of this iconic play. This largely autobiographical play that brings to the fore one Laura Wingfield, a character as gentle as a glass figurine, brought fame to Tennessee Williams, one of the greatest American play- wrights. Williams created a true theatrical masterpiece, which still – even after 80 years – resonates with modern man and prompts the struggle for goodness and purity. Directed by Ivana Vujić, the cast is led by Tamara Aleksić and Nikola Rakočević. The premiere is scheduled for 30 th March.

Stiže Ju Nesbe, ali ne i Hari Hule Jo Nesbø arriving, but not Harry Hole

Mark Volberg igra izuzetnog sportistu koji u svom sledecem filmu „Ar- tur kralj“ upoznaje još izuzetnijeg psa. U ostvarenju zasnovanom na knjizi švedskog ekstremnog sportiste i pisca Mikaela Lindnorda „Ar- tur: Pas koji je prešao džunglu da nađe dom“, Volberg upoznaje svog četvoronožnog pratioca dok se sprema za veliku trku izdržljivosti kroz Dominikansku Republiku. U stvarnom životu Artur je još deset godi- na srećno živeo sa svojom porodicom, a film će svakako dobro doći jer nam svima treba jedan hepi end. But never mind that, be- cause Nesbø is a master of suspense, and The Night House is a well-composed and seductive nightmare! Following the deaths of his parents in a house fire, 14-year- old Richard goes to live with his aunt and uncle in the re- mote town of Ballantyne. He quickly earns a reputation as an outcast, and when a classmate goes missing, everyone blames the new boy. No one believes Richard when he says that the telephone booth swallowed Tom... Mark Wahlberg plays an outstanding athlete who meets an even more outstanding dog in his latest film, Arthur the King. Based on the book Ar- thur: The Dog Who Crossed the Jungle to Find a Home, by Swedish ex- treme athlete and author Mikael Lindnord, Wahlberg stars as Lindnord, who meets his four-legged companion while preparing for a major en- durance race through the Dominican Republic. In real life, Arthur spent another ten years living a happy life with his family, and we will definitely welcome this film because we are really in need of a nice happy ending.
