Legendarni pijanista Ivo Pogorelić, čija je koncertna izvođenja „Njujork tajms“ ocenio kao kreacije koje su 200 godina ispred svog vremena, održaće koncert u Beogradu 18. mar- ta u Velikoj dvorani Kolarčeve zadužbine i to sa Vojvođanskim simfonijskim orkestrom pod dirigentskim vođstvom Aleksandra Markovića. Pogorelić posle dve godine stiže u rodni Beograd sa koncertom za klavir i orkestar br. 2 Sergeja Rahmanjinova u prvom de- lu, a u drugom delu najavljena je simfonijska svita „Šeherezada“ Nikolaja Rimskog-Kor- sakova, u kojoj nastupa izuzetan solista, violinista Florin Ilijesku, prvi koncertmajstor Sim- fonijskog orkestra Radio Frankfurta. Legendary pianist Ivo Pogorelić, whose concert performances have been critiqued by the New York Times as creations that are 200 years ahead of their time, is set to hold an 18 th March concert in the Great Hall of Belgrade’s Kolarac Endowment, together with the Vo- jvodina Symphony Orchestra and conducted by Aleksandar Marković. Pogorelić, who re- turns to his native Belgrade after a two-year break, will perform Sergei Rachmaninoff’s Pi- ano Concerto No. 2 in the first part of the concert, while in the second part he will take on the Nikolai Rimsky-Korsakov composed symphonic suite Scheherazade, which will include the performance of outstanding violin soloist Florin Iliescu, 1 st Concertmaster of Frankfurt Radio Symphony Orchestra. Konstantinos Rigos otvara Beogradski festival igre / Konstantinos Rigos opens Belgrade Dance Festival
Grčki koreograf i reditelj, aktuelni direktor Nacionalnog baleta u Ati- ni, Konstantinos Rigos otvoriće 21. Beogradski festival igre. On će se obratiti publici u Srpskom narodnom pozorištu u Novom Sadu, gde 9. marta nastupom Kompanije igre Opere Geteborga zvanično za- počinje program ovogodišnjeg Festivala. Rigos je za svoj rad u pozo- rištu i na televiziji često nagrađivan, dok je publici Beogradskog fe- stivala igre ostalo nezaboravno njegovo ostvarenje „Winterrise“ na muziku Robija Vilijamsa, sa kojim je daleke 2004. godine u Centru „Sava“ započela prva edicija Beogradskog festivala igre. Konstantinos Rigos, a Greek choreographer and director, and cur- rent director of the Greek National Opera Ballet in Athens, will open the 21 st Belgrade Dance Festival. He will address the audience of the Serbian National Theatre in Novi Sad, where the programme of this year’s BDF will officially begin on 9 th March with a performance of the Gothenburg Opera dance company. Rigos has been award- ed on many occasions for his work in the theatre and on television, while the BDF audience will never forget his production of Winter- reise to the music of Robbie Williams, which opened the first ev- er edition of the Belgrade Dance Festival at the Sava Centre back in 2004.
