Don't confuse digital literacy with information literacy. Although most research these days is done on line, good tech skills do not equate to good research skills. Ramp up your research skills for college readiness. Be aware of and able to identify different types and sources of information. Inspect information for bias, relevance, accuracy, and other important qualities. Know a bit about different citation styles and line up a few go-to resources to help you master the art of citation. If you are not being taught information literacy in school, learn it on your own.
