CHAPTER 8
That’s My Routine and I’m Stick’n to It! Have you ever sat down to do your homework, then realized you didn’t have all the materials or information you needed to get the job done? Have you ever done the wrong assignment for homework? Have you ever lost a book or paper you needed for homework somewhere in your house? It’s so frustrating! Homework isn’t fun to begin with, but doing the wrong assignment, searching for books and papers, and overcoming other obstacles takes homework frustration to another level. In the next few chapters, you will investigate pre-learning strategies . Those are things students can do before starting their homework to make learning faster, more efficient, and less frustrating. The first of these strategies is to develop (and stick to) a homework routine. A simple, brief homework routine makes your time more productive, and can save you hours of trouble!
