Chiro1Source Gives Back WE DONATED $1,000 TO STOP HUMAN TRAFFICKING!
Office a Christmas Destination
ON THESE G STUFFERS!
Earlier this year, Josh decided one of our team’s big goals for 2021 would be to give back more to the community. So far, we’ve donated to a lot of worthy causes including Operation Veggie Box and ChiroCongress. But here’s what we haven’t told you: This October, we added another nonprofit to the list! We’re proud to have donated $1,000 to North Carolina Stop Human Trafficking as a gold sponsor of their annual BBQ, Bluegrass & Brew fundraising event. “The money we raise from that event goes to all of our different programs, but we focus a lot of our funding on our community education programs and our professional programs,” explains the group’s Community Outreach Coordinator Melinda Sampson.
MUST-HAVE GIFT NO. 3: THE TRI‑CORE WATER PILLOW There’s no better gift than a great night’s sleep! This Christmas, you can make that possible for your patients and their families by stocking up on our Tri-Core Water Pillow with adjustable
cervical support, made right here in the USA. The pillow includes a water chamber surrounded by polyester fiber fill. Together, they offer both adjustable comfort and support for side sleepers, back sleepers, and people who suffer from chronic headaches and neck pain. MUST-HAVE GIFT NO. 4: THE APEX CERVICAL ORTHOSIS PREMIUM WITH HEAT This USA-made, wedge-shaped cervical orthosis solves two problems in one: It relieves neck pain and keeps the user warm and toasty! Pitch this to patients as the perfect gift for older folks or people suffering from whiplash, headaches, tech neck, or another neck injury.
Through those programs, NC Stop Human Trafficking raises awareness about sex and labor trafficking in North Carolina and trains health care providers, children’s advocacy center workers, foster parents, teachers, and counselors to identify potential victims. The nonprofit also develops coalitions in nearby communities to help citizens fight human trafficking, goes to bat for strong anti-human trafficking legislation, and supports ethical labor with its Fair Traders Project. BBQ, Bluegrass & Brew is the nonprofit’s big fall fundraiser in Greenville. It’s an awesome night where local breweries, bluegrass musicians, and other businesses join forces to throw a community party and raise money to fight human trafficking in our state. Josh learned about the event from Melinda, who happens to go to his church.
To learn more about all of these gifts and place your holiday order before it’s too late, call our office or visit Chiro1Source.com.
“I can’t say enough great things about Josh and Chiro1Source giving that donation,” Melinda says. “That money is going to help us a lot with our mission and work, and we deeply appreciate it.”
January is Human Trafficking Awareness month, and Melinda and her team are already busy putting together educational events, virtual classes, and other resources for people nationwide. No matter where you live, you can learn more about human trafficking and do your part to help stop it.
