Regulation (EC) No. 1008/2008. C-122 Continuing Airworthiness by Part-CAMO according to Part-M or Part-ML
Objectives
• Organizations intending to apply for an approval issued according to Part-CAMO to manage the continuing airworthiness for aircraft other than CMPA, and not used by air carriers licensed i.a.w. Regulation (EC) No. 1008/2008 • Private and commercial operators and CAT operators not licensed i.a.w. Regulation (EC) No. 1008/2008 operating other than CMPA • Management personnel • Authority personnel • Continuing airworthiness management personnel and Airworthiness Review staff • Compliance monitoring staff Using both theoretical explanations and practical illustrations, participants will better understand how the regulation can be practically and successfully implemented into their organization. In addition, the interrelations to other relevant parts of Part-145, Part-66 and Part-21 are covered. This two-day course focuses on the content of Commission Regulation (EU) 1321/2014 and the relevant Applicable Means of Compliance (AMC) and Guidance Material (GM) which specify the requirements to be met by an organization approved according to Annex Vc (Part-CAMO) intending to apply for an approval to perform continuing airworthiness management and airworthiness reviews in accordance with Annex I (Part-M) or Annex Vc (Part-ML) on aircraft other than CMPA, and not used by air carriers licensed i.a.w. Regulation (EC) No. 1008/2008. Specifically, this course covers: • the requirements applicable to personnel and the organization as a whole for organizations approved i.a.w. Part-CAMO • requirements to be met while performing continuing airworthiness management and airworthiness review i.a.w. Part-M or Part-ML • the meaning of “airworthiness review”, how a review should be prepared, performed, and which documentation is to be used
