This two-day initial course covers Safety Management Systems (SMS), human factors, and performance limitations. By using practical examples, participants will learn to implement SMS, enhance communication, teamwork, and situational awareness. It meets EU safety training requirements for Part-21G, Part-21J, Part-CAMO, and Part-145. C-129 Safety Training (incl. Human Factors)

Objectives

• All personnel from Part-CAMO, Part-145, Part-CAO, Part- 21G and/or Part-21J approved organizations • Authority personnel In this course, participants will learn about safety management and human factors in aviation, including SMS per ICAO Doc 9859, risk assessments, safety assurance, and safety promotion. They will gain insights into human factors affecting safety and recognize performance limitations that impact operations. Tailored to their professional backgrounds, participants will develop skills to enhance safety culture and compliance within their organizations. Fundamental understanding of Initial Airworthiness (design and production), Continuing Airworthiness Management and Maintenance.
