This one-day refresher training provides participants with an understanding of safety management and human factors, including Safety Management Systems (SMS), risk assessment, and safety assurance and promotion. Insights into human factors which affect safety and skills to enhance safety culture and compliance will also be discussed. C-163 Safety Continuation Training (incl. Human Factors)

Objectives

• All personnel from Part-CAMO, Part-145, Part-CAO, Part- 21G and/or Part-21J approved organizations • Authority Personnel • Fundamental understanding of Initial Airworthiness (design and production) , Continuing Airworthiness Management and Maintenance. • Participant must have completed a Safety Management and Human Factors Initial Training (see C-129) This course provides continuation training on SMS elements from ICAO Doc 9859 and human factors like the SHEL(L) model, communication, teamwork, and situational awareness. Participants will learn to implement SMS principles, address human performance limitations, enhance teamwork, and maintain situational awareness to prevent errors. The training meets the safety requirements of EU regulations (Part-21G, Part-21J, Part- CAMO, and Part-145) and is tailored to participants’ professional backgrounds for practical relevance.
