The regulatory basis of the course will be tailored to the participants, but usually considers audit-relevant requirements related to: • Basic Regulation (EU) 2018/1139 • Air Operations (EU) 965/2012 • Continuing Airworthiness (EU) 1321/2014 • Aircrew Regulation (EU) 1178/2011 • Relevant Commission Regulations incl. AMC, GM, and ICAO regulations related to Management Systems, Safety Management Systems, and Compliance Monitoring/Quality and Safety Assurance • Theoretical background with regards to audits based on ISO 19011 (guidelines for auditing management systems) • Procedures and practical tools for planning, preparing for, and conducting audits • Audit reporting, and the implementation and monitoring of corrections and corrective actions • Required profile for auditors • “Soft skills” such as communication, human factor problems, and how to overcome them • Relevant case studies to apply and gain further theoretical knowledge • Useful and effective tools will be provided on a USB-Stick
