Children under three years of age are not authorized to sail. Children between three and eight years of age are accepted subject to agreement at the time of booking. If accepted, a liability waiver must be completed and returned to Ponant to validate your booking. On Antarctic programs, children must be able to disembark/embark by Zodiac without assistance, and be capable of understanding and following safety instructions. Therefore, disembarkation is subject to the Captain’s and Expedition Leader’s approval. One child (aged 8–12) can share a cabin with two adults for free. In all cases, children and young adults, once on board, are the responsibility of their parents or guardians. Teenagers aged 12–17, can share a Superior Cabin or Prestige Suite with one or two adults at a discount of fifty percent on cruise-only fares.
