PAYROLL PETS

Modern life is incredibly busy. Combining work and home life can be a balancing act, and recently, we’ve all been exposed to considerable uncertainty. Pets can really help our mental wellbeing and help us find some solace and stability in difficult times. We asked you, the payroll professionals, to show us your pets.

Here are just a few of your wonderful furry and feathered friends...

Name: Biffa Sent by: Joanne Plumbley MCIPPdip, payroll officer, Community Accounting Plus “This is Biffa. He’s a real payroll dog as he sometimes comes to the office with me.”

Name: Betsy Sent by: Hannah Gould, finance and operations manager, Tiny Lives Trust “Here’s Betsy, my payroll buddy!”

Name: Casper Sent by: Louise Blackburn MCIPPdip, payroll supervisor, BHP Payroll Ltd “This is Casper, looking rather please with himself showing up to help with work five minutes before the end of the day.”

Name: Lucifer and Fig Sent by: Sarah Heath FMAAT ACIPP, accountant at Nero Accountancy “Lucifer and Fig are quite often in the office with me, always ready for a fuss when I need to destress for five minutes!”

If you’ve submitted your payroll pet to us and they’re not included, you’ll see them in a future issue of Professional .
