Spade could be the poster child of a pert-near- perfect Quarter Horse. Good looking, sturdy, sound, honest and true as you can make one. While he doesn’t require attention, he has a very kind temperament and likes to be your buddy if you give him the chance. Spade is handy-broke with a great neck rein and turnaround. He is enjoyable to ride and very adaptable. He would look just as fitting being the boss’s ranch horse as he would riding in the arena, training for the show pen, or out on weekend trails. Hip # 14 – Evan (Fortunate Evening, AQHA)
Evan is just the right everything. He is a great size for adults or youth and he is trained for anyone. Evan has inside and outside training and experience.You could take him to a fun horse show if you wanted or you could take him out and do ranch work, or both. My daughter has ridden him on the ranch gathering cows and checking pastures, he is good in all terrain and handles himself fine. Nothing worries him. Lana has also breakaway roped on him, his big stop makes him really fun to rope on and he is cowy. This is the kind of horse we feel confident
