dential and commercial customers in Nova Scotia and beyond our provincial borders. Solar Nova Scotia’s core areas of focus are advocacy and education, and that’s where we like to focus our efforts. Offering events and research opportunity for those looking to make the switch or that have already made the switch to solar. We also support a very active Facebook discussion group, with over 3700 members, where people can go to share their experiences regarding switching to solar and as well where Nova Scotians can go to get their questions answered. In addition to the discussion group, we have conducted Solar education sessions all over the province to help provide potential cus- tomers with all the information about going solar to help them make informed decisions around solar. Inpast years, CanSIAhas hosted the solar summits and our Solar Nova Scotia helping to organize. We are planning to host the next solar summit ourselves, hopefully in December of this year, if the COVID situation allows it and restrictions on gatherings are lifted we look forward to hosting another Solar Summit, which are big events and usually sold out. Unfortunately, because of the covid outbreak we were unable to have a summit in 2020 and 2021.
