If I’m looking to go solar with my business or my home, if I select someone who’s a member of the Solar Nova Scotia orga- nization, what should I expect? DB: All of our corporate members have agreed to abide by our code of ethics and code of conduct. So, we provide customers with additional security. If a member violates our codes for any reason, they’ll be removed from our directory. Because we want to make sure that we represent the best in the industry so that you can be confident of
SPOTLIGHT: You’ve talked about being a member. So, we are curious regarding being a member. What type of memberships are there? Are they only for people in the industry or can the general public become a member of solar Nova Scotia? DB: So basically, members can be individuals, or they can be businesses. Most of the corporate members are mostly solar installers. In saying that there are many businesses that are members because their products and services are tied to the solar industry as well. Individual members pay a very small fee to help support the organi- zation plus they also get access to things like our solar tours. Corporate members also pay a small fee, which will get them listed on our directory
