UPCOMING SWA ACTIVITIES [Trade fair] Borneo International Water and Wastewater Exhibition and Conference (BIWWEC) 2024 23-25 Oct 2024, Kuching, Malaysia

BIWWEC, run biennially by the Malaysia Water Association (MWA) Sarawak branch, is Sarawak’s international congregation of water and wastewater experts. With the theme of bridging solutions for water sustainability and the tagline ‘Flowing Future’, BIWWEC 2024 aims to feature smart water technology in Borneo. This edition of BIWWEC 2024 is centred around pillars of energy efficiency, reduction of non-revenue water (NRW), innovative asset management, and

innovation drivers such as digital technology, artificial intelligence (AI), and decentralised solutions.

[Trade fair] VietWater 2024 6-8 Nov 2024, Ho Chi Minh city, Vietnam

SWA is participating in VietWater 2024 — Vietnam’s biggest water supply, wastewater and environmental event at Ho Chi Minh city from 6-8 Nov 2024. As the largest international water industry show in Vietnam for 15 consecutive years, the show offers business opportunities for the water supply and wastewater treatment

industry in Vietnam and across Indo-China. The event will be co-located with WETV — Vietnam’s transportation, waste treatment and environment technology event.

[Trade fair] Vietnam Water Week 2024 6-8 Nov 2024, Hanoi, Vietnam

The Vietnam Water Supply and Sewerage Association (VWSA) will be organising Vietnam Water Week 2024 with the theme ‘Water for the quality of life and sustainable development’. This event will take place from 6-8 Nov 2024 in Hanoi, Vietnam. Vietnam Water Week 2024 aims at creating space for businesses to present their products and services to Vietnamese and foreign partners. It also aims to promote technologies

for a sustainable development of the country’s water sector. In addition, the seminars and conferences in the event agenda will allow representatives from government agencies,

international organisations, Vietnamese and foreign experts, scientists, as well as business leaders to discuss water policy developments.
