Transmitter for precise drinking water flow measurements

NIVUS introduces the NivuFlow 600 WS, a system for non-contact flow measurement in drinking water applications. The measurement system stands out with its simple installation without the need to interrupt the process as well as with its high measurement accuracy. The IP68 clamp-on sensors are clamped onto the pipe from the outside. This uninterruptible mounting means that it is not necessary to open the pipe. The sensors do not come into contact with the drinking water and guarantee hygiene. If necessary, the pipe can be cut and then flushed. This makes the measurement system suitable for retrofitting to existing systems. Commissioning is simple and straightforward due to the menu-supported sensor alignment. The measurement

system is suitable for all common pipe materials and pipe linings and can also be installed directly in the ground without the need for a shaft structure. With its ability to monitor all system- relevant parameters such as flow rate, flow velocity and temperature, it offers control options. The intuitive operating concept of the transmitter enables quick commissioning and also on-site diagnostics. With Internet of Things (IoT)-ready function and global 4G connection, it is designed for maximum availability and digital services. NivuFlow 600 WS offers high measuring accuracy even at low flow velocities. The system also has measurement dynamics and is also suitable for bidirectional measurements. Typical applications

include flow measurements in drinking water tanks, pumping stations and treatment plants. The NivuFlow 600 WS is also suitable for leakage monitoring in the drinking water network with simultaneous monitoring of the temperature relevant for hygienic operation. VuSitu app to log into their HydroVu account and files will instantly upload to the cloud, where they can be viewed, managed and shared. With Cloud Connection, calibrations performed using VuSitu will automatically be stored in HydroVu. Users can access a fleetwide calibration history, and files are easily searchable by keyword, instrument type, serial number and date range. The feature also enables graphing of ‘offline’ data alongside telemetered data and notification of users accessing or sending files. HydroVu keeps all data secure with instant redundant backup. VuSitu HydroVu Cloud Connection is available to everyone with the VuSitu app for iOS and Android and a HydroVu data plan, including the free tier of service. As reportedly the only software feature of its kind in the industry, it is part of a shared ecosystem of rugged water monitoring instrumentation and intuitive software designed to simplify access to decision-quality data.

In-Situ extends software capabilities with Cloud Connection

VuSitu HydroVu Cloud Connection (Image: In-Situ) In-Situ’s new Cloud Connection will make it easier for scientists, researchers, consultants and engineers monitoring water quality and water level in the field to view and manage data files and calibration reports. Rather than download and email files to their destination, users can use the

In-Situ has reached a new milestone with the release of VuSitu HydroVu Cloud Connection. The new software feature in the VuSitu mobile app automatically uploads data logs, calibration reports, daily snapshot files and low-flow tests from VuSitu to HydroVu, In-Situ’s data services platform.
