Intro to Logic

8th Grade, Full Year This course introduces students to the concepts and methods of categorical and propositional logic. Students will learn different worldviews for defining and discovering truth and evaluate them against the wisdom of God through revelation. Students will learn how to clarify terms, evaluate the validity of arguments, identify fallacies, and construct sound arguments. Students will also apply logic to examine important issues in ethics, theology, and epistemology.

6th-8th Grades, Full Year Middle School Science is a comprehensive science course that investigates key science topics through the powerful combination of hands-on activities and content area reading. The twelve topics covered are divided so that four are covered per year on a three year rotation. Students will learn how God’s eternal power and divine nature are revealed in creation (Roman 1:20) and how to reason scientifically within a Christian worldview. Curriculum: Delta Science Modules:

6th Grade - Astronomy; Earth, Moon, and Sun; Earth Processes; Weather Forecasting 7th Grade - Flight and Rocketry; Pollution; DNA: Genes to Proteins; Plants in Our World 8th Grade - Matter and Change; Electrical Connections; Color and Light; Newton’s Toy Box

MS Spanish Dept. MS Spanish 7 & 8

7th-8th Grade, Full Year Students are introduced to foundational Spanish vocabulary, grammar, and conversational skills. Through interactive lessons, students build confidence in listening, speaking, reading, and writing. By the end of 8th grade, students will be prepared for high school Spanish with a strong grasp of basic communication and cultural awareness
