11th-12th Grade, Semester Discover the power of visual storytelling through set, costume, prop, and lighting design. In this hands-on course, you'll learn the history and theory of effective production design while bringing your ideas to life through creative projects. Students will collaborate to design all visual elements for the Spring Play 2026. Repertory Theater Elective Instructor: Mr. Octavius Womack 9th-12th Grade, Semester Repertory Theatre is a performance-based class that focuses on the rehearsal and performances of up to three different productions during the semester. Major focuses on the class include rehearsal techniques, acting theories, development of performance skills. This course is the highest theater class offered at Heritage, so previous classes and an audition are required for admittance. This course requires a Fine Arts Activity Fee to help cover production costs. Sound Engineering & Podcast Elective Instructor: Mr. Isaac Moreno 9th-12th Grade, Semester Repertory Theatre is a performance-based class that focuses on the rehearsal and performances of up to three different productions during the semester. This course is the highest theater class offered at Heritage, so previous classes and an audition are required for admittance. Spring Play Elective Instructor: Ms. Starr Peterson 10th-12th Grade, Semester Be part of a full-length production from audition to final bow! This audition-based class offers hands-on experience in rehearsals, character development, and technical design. Create something amazing with your castmates and crew. This course requires a Fine Arts Activity Fee to help cover production costs. Studio Art Elective Instructor: Mrs. Kristin Howard 12th Grade, Semester Studio Art is a studio course for students to have the opportunity to develop a higher level of personal expression and technical skill in visual art. Students will be presented with assignments designed to challenge their current skills in drawing or painting. Students will develop a sketchbook to chronicle their artistic growth. Students will work on individual projects, approved by the instructor. Significant historical artwork will be observed and evaluated. Students will prepare and present their work for display, critiques, and build portfolios. Worship Ministry Elective Instructor: Mr. Octavius Womack 11th-12th Grade, Semester Worship Ministries challenges students as worship leaders to be vulnerable in Christ and remove the interrup- tions that can interfere with worship ministry. The course will focus on establishing foundations of worship and understanding the theology behind why we worship whether playing an nstrument or singing.
