Young Forwarder Network

The YFN hits 200 events milestone The 200th YFN event took place at DP World London Gateway in May

Opportunities like these allow attendees to witness the scale and complexity of modern freight forwarding up close. Networking An equally important aspect of our events is the ability for young professionals to build connections with like-minded individuals from across the sector. Networking remains a vital part of professional development, and these events continue to foster an inclusive and supportive environment for members who are aged 32 and under or are new to the industry. BIFA Members are invited to join us at Multimodal 2026 to learn more about how the YFN will bene fi t their eligible members of staff. Members can also explore opportunities to get involved with the YFN by presenting a topic of interest either virtually or face-to-face. Current or potential members of the YFN are encouraged to come along to the BIFA stand at Multimodal 2026, introduce themselves to the BIFA team and enter the raf fl e taking place on Wednesday 1 July at 2 pm on the BIFA stand. There are many more YFN events in the pipeline for the remainder of 2026, with further details to be announced in due course. In the meantime, the team is always keen to hear from members regarding topics they would like to learn more about, or future event ideas.
