The Kennedy Experience
This spring, the Upper Campus celebrated the Annual Father John-Michael Lavelle Day of Service. This initiative was created in 2017 to serve our surrounding community and supporting parishes. The event was renamed in honor of Father John-Michael Lavelle for the constant and thoughtful ways he gave of his time and talent to enhance the experience of Kennedy students as Director of Faith Formation. It is our pleasure and honor to serve our neighbors in his honor. Houses volunteered at sites including St. Vincent dePaul-Warren, Trumbull Neighborhood Partnership, Our Lady of Perpetual Help, Animal Welfare League, Boyd’s Home, Harriet’s Cupboard and St. Teresa of Calcutta Parish, as well as helped with projects around both of our Upper and Lower Campuses. Students at each site did everything from yard work and deep cleaning to moving boxes, whatever was needed! Annual Father John-Michael Lavelle Day of Service
