Mr. Covelli was a devoted family man, decorated military veteran, business icon and staunch supporter of Catholic education who passed away in May of 2014. Mr. Covelli’s son, Sam ’71, said his dad was committed to providing opportunities for young people. “My dad was especially fond of doing things that could improve the lives of young people. He created this scholarship with the hope that it will provide an opportunity for the recipients as they continue their education so they can enjoy success and, more importantly, use that success to impact the lives of others.”We thank the Covelli Family for their investment in the future of our leaders and believing in the mission of John F. Kennedy Catholic School. In a time where college education is critical for emerging leaders, scholarship resources are so very important. Thank you to the Covelli Family for their support.
